Hello, I am a native of Tyre (southern Lebanon), and I am a specialist in history, archeology, religion and politics of my country and the Middle East. Since 1991, as a professional guide, I received many individual and associative groups to discover the beauty and diversity of Lebanon. I participated with the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism in setting up tours for the descendants of Lebanese emigrants and their friends around the world, and recently took charge of many tourists from Western Europe and Latin America. Lebanon, cradle of the Phoenicians and part of the Holy Land, is an amazing country. I am waiting for you to let you dive into its mysteries buried in the Biblical Cedars and the Jeita Grotto. I offer personalized tours in Lebanon, according to your will and curiosity, with pride of place for the splendor of nature and the richness of gastronomy. Founder of RJLiban association to preserve and promote culture and tourism in Lebanon (Paris-1986) Bachelors of Mathematics (Paris-1987) Superior diploma in classical guitar (Paris-1987) Founder and editor-in-chief of the fortnightly page « Lebanese throughout the World » in the journal of French language Orient-le Jour to link Lebanese with their Diaspora (Beirut-2007) Professional photographer: series « Paths of Lebanon », « Lights of Tyre », « The Four Seasons », « Villages in Lebanon », with international exhibitions on natural and archaeological landscapes of Lebanon (Paris-1997, Beirut-2002, Puebla-Toluca-Mexico-2010, Rio de Janeiro-2015) Active member of Lebanese worldwide organizations and the Lebanese association for tourism representing the FIJET (World federation of travel journalists and writers), with travels around the world.

I invite you to discover the Phoenician cities of Sidon, with its Crusader Castle and old quarters steeped in history, and Tyre, cradle of Europe and Cadmos, with its still active ancient port, its churches and mosques, its two Greco-Roman archaeological sites and its magnificent sandy beach. The regions of Tyre and Sidon are part of the Holy Land where lived Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary, whose family was in Cana near Tyre, the place of Jesus' first miracle. They often traveled to Sidon by staying in the Grotto of Maghdouche, a place of considerable religious importance, overlooking the green coastal plain of southern Lebanon.
We will go directly from Beirut to Tyre (one hour and a half) to spend the whole day in this city, visiting the sites with one night in the peninsula. The next day we will start with a walk in the Holy Valley of Cana, then return by Sidon and Maghdouche, halfway to Beirut, which we will visit entirely.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
