Beirut is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city that truly is a melting pot of cultures and influences. As a child growing up in Beirut during the civil war, I used to watch in awe as the city's landmarks were destroyed and then restored over time. It was a fascinating experience to witness the resilience of the people of Beirut and their determination to rebuild their city. Today, Beirut boasts an impressive array of landmarks that serve as a testament to its rich history and culture. From the iconic Pigeon Rocks to the historic Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, there is no shortage of sights to see in this vibrant city. The restored downtown area is particularly impressive, with its elegant French architecture and bustling streets filled with shops and restaurants. As a tour guide, I am eager to share my love for Beirut with visitors from around the world and show them all that this incredible city has to offer.
