I am a third generation certified guide. I have been working in this business for more then 20 years (as a tour guide, a tour leader, a translator and the tour organizer). I have experience as a tour leader abroad (Turkey, Egypt). I also took part in the conference dedicated to Baalbek in Aix-en-Provence (France) in 2018. I enjoy showing my native city (Baalbeck) and my lovely country to our visitors , and make them love Lebanon as much as I do. It is amazing how many historical places and attractions are in this small country. Everyone can find something they will like here: from world-famous ancient temples and medieval fortresses to modern buildings, from dizzying mountain landscapes and serpentines to spectacular sea views, from the vibrant quarters of Beirut to the secluded quiet streets of traditional Lebanese towns. Being at the crossroads of great civilizations, every meter of my country is steeped in centuries-old history, which I would like to share with my tourists. I conduct my tours in a easy simple way to give my clients the opportunity to feel and enjoy the places and sites. Also during the tour I try, if possible, to acquaint tourists with locals and their life. I want to fully reveal the spirit of my country not only through sightseeing, but also by exploring Lebanese cuisine and customs. Overview of your Beirut tour

Baalbeck, the "City of the sun" of the ancient world, is home of the most impressive ancient site in Lebanon. The city, which from ancient times to the present day has gained fame as a legendary and even mystical place. In this tour we will see three romans temples: the Jupiter temple is the largest one, the Bacchus temple is among the best preserved and graceful Venus temple. Temples, which during its existence, have experienced periods of the highest prosperity and decline, has undergone many changes, but has not lost its luster so far. We will also visit the roman quarry, where the stone blocks of temples were cut down. There are still some of the largest stone blocks in the world. This is my favorite place , its my home town where I use to play as child , and following my father when his was guiding the tourists.

Your Beirut tour itinerary

-We will meet at the entrance of the ruins next to the ticket office , -Will visit the temples during 2 hours (1hour for jupiter , 30mn Baachus ) -Then will walk 10 mn to see the medieval period ruins and the megaliths in the quarry (20 mn) . Please contact me for a customized tour.
