Meet the deer of Nara Park, stand before the magnificent Great Buddha at Todai-ji Temple, and discover the spiritual traditions of Kasuga Taisha Shrine. After lunch, explore Naramachi, a historic merchant district filled with traditional townhouses and charming shops. Your Kyoto tour itinerary
9:00 AM – Pickup in Kyoto Meet at your hotel or an agreed location in Kyoto City. Travel to Nara by private vehicle. 10:15–11:45 AM – Nara Park and Todai-ji Temple Walk through Nara Park and meet its famous deer. Admire the imposing Nandaimon Gate before entering the Great Buddha Hall to discover one of Japan’s most impressive Buddhist statues. 12:00–1:00 PM – Kasuga Taisha Shrine Explore the atmospheric shrine grounds and lantern-lined paths. Learn about Shinto traditions and why deer are regarded as sacred messengers in Nara. 1:15–2:15 PM – Lunch Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant selected according to your preferences. Discover traditional wooden townhouses, browse local craft shops, and enjoy time for photographs or an optional café stop. 3:30 PM – Depart for Kyoto 5:00 PM – Drop-off in Kyoto Return to your hotel or an agreed location in Kyoto City.
