Khas was great! Not only was he knowledgeable but also kind, funny and thoughtful. He made sure we all were staying hydrated and stayed at our pace. Not once did we feel rushed. He took pictures for us, answered questions and even offered to be available via text/phone if we needed help on our remaining days in Kyoto. We made it to a lot of temples/shrines and learned so much, highly recommend booking with him. It was the best first day we could of had.

If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Kyoto, look no further for a guide and just hire Khas. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge, was very accommodating to what we wanted to see, speaks perfect English and is just fun to hang out with for the day. He is from Mongolia originally and as a boy helped his uncle with tours. It was fascinating to learn all of the history and culture in Japan, but then also learn about Mongolia. He is a gem...don't hesitate to hire him.
