Ciao! Buongiorno! I'm Alex, a licensed guide and travel planner from the beautiful Veneto region Come with me and ENJOY A DIFFERENT DAY off the beaten path! Local and immersive experiences, fun and a relaxed atmosphere are the right recipe for a perfect day: this is what I want to share with you! I really love when you can have a good mix of the italian outdoors and unique local experiences: no crowds, no rush and the feeling you are really immersing into local life. To be honest I think this is the better way to discover a territory. Why to hire me as your local guide? 1) REAL LOCAL GUIDE: I have been living in the Veneto region almost all my life so you can be sure you will have a real local guide. 2) OFF THE BEATEN PATH: I'm a very curious person, an explorer and a nature lover: I love exploring, trying new experiences and looking for the hidden gems of our territory to give travellers something different from the standard group tours. 3) GREAT CONNECTIONS AND EXPERTISE ABOUT TYPICAL PRODUCTS As a former agriculture engineer and organic farming expert, I really know about local food & wine and along my career I got to meet many farmers producing unique products in the most charming and beautiful places of Italy. 4) UNIQUE COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCES What about a glass of wine in a beautiful organic agriturismo, a tour of the Dolomites with great insights about nature and history, a cooking class in a farm or meeting a local handicraft master after visiting an ancient villa in the countryside? 5) EXPERTISE IN MULTIDAY TOURS PLANNING AND GUIDING! Why only one day while you can have a full experience like 2 days visiting the Prosecco hills and the Dolomites? Or 3-4 days to see all sides of the dolomites, with mountains and castles and maybe enjoy some hiking and biking too This is why the motto of my tours is "Enjoy a different day"! And the Veneto region has it all! History with the famous villas by Palladio, middle age castles or World war one trenches and tunnels in the mountains Culture with local handicraft masters ateliers Food and wines with its typical products like the Asiago cheese, amarone and Prosecco wines or the famous "baccalà" fish Nature with the incredible Dolomites mountains, the hills around Vicenza and Padua or the picturesque Garda lake My goal is to give you not just a tour but a unique & custom experience where you can feel yourself like a local, discovering hidden places, meeting local people, tasting typical dishes and , what I love the most, bringing back home great memories. My tours are for everyone, You don't need to be an adventurer or a backpacker, you just need to be curious enough. The tours you can find here are just some examples: they can be completely customized to your desires or for larger groups. Please, feel free to Get in touch for more infos Ciao from Italy! NB. No need for words. . . This is one of the most famous and high rated trails in Italy. Beautiful landscapes, stunning views on the surrounding mountains, 2 kilometres of tunnels dug into the mountain. . . This tour is only for people used to hike and in have a good physical shape, the trail is quite steep and it's not for beginners. Hike this trail with a licensed outdoor guide and take with you a completely different experience.
* After we reach the meeting point we will start the hike You need all the equipment for a mountain steep hike: trekking shoes or boots, walking sticks (if you are used to use them), water or drinks, food, hat, backpack with rain jacket, flashlight) * the hike goes uphill for about 6 kilometres to reach the Refuge through 52 tunnels (yes they are really 52) with incredible views and landscapes. The refuge is at about 6500 feet of altitude. * We will stop at the refuge to have lunch (or packed lunch) and after the lunch break we will descend from another road for 9 kilometres to reach the parking again.
