The Capri-Day you always wanted!

If you want to spend a day in Capri, and you want it to be special and personal and memorable, this tour with Paolo is not to be missed! We were in Sorrento for a day on a cruise, and I wanted a day in Capri that would be low stress, avoid the crowds as much as possible, and give meaningful time in the right spots. That’s exactly what Paolo arranged for us. First of all, communications with Paolo using the TBL site was brilliant. He was very responsive as I wanted to work out the timing with him. Normally, he starts the tour at eight, but our cruise ship would not be in port to allow us to start that early. We altered the schedule a bit and he was very flexible. It worked out well, we started at 11. He customize the tour from what he usually does, but we still avoided being in any highly crowded spaces. He met us right on time, we got on the ferry together and arrived in Capri where he knew everybody we ran into. He was born and raised in the area, and is very passionate about Capri and it shows. He immediately got us tickets for a one hour boat ride around the island, that was a great way to start the day. Then he had a taxi waiting for us to take us up to the chairlift, and once we were at the very top of Capri, he took beautiful photos of my husband and me, and recommended a restaurant with a fabulous view and delicious Italian food. Then we went back down the chairlift and spent some time in Anna Capri. Paolo knew I loved visiting churches, so he took us to a magical little church with the most amazing tile artwork on the floor. All along the way we had great conversation, he’s so much fun, full of joy for life. We ended our visit with some time for shopping, the crowds had thinned out so again we were never with the hustle and bustle of giant crowds. It really was the day in Capri that I always dreamed of! Thanks to Paolo for making it magical, and so much fun. You will really feel like you’ve made a great friend. I highly recommend booking any tour that Paolo offers, we hope to see him again. Next time we are in the Amalfi Coast area.

Paolo was a wonderful tour guide and showed us the entire beautiful island of Capri. We enjoyed the convertible ride, as well as the lift up to Anacapri. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a wonderful day with Paolo exploring Capri. He was quite informative and easy to get along as we spent our day on Capri. He provided great information about the island, saw all the sites of Capri, Anacapri, took a boat tour around the island and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. I highly recommend booking Paolo for any tour you are interested in.

Paolo was wonderful! Great guide. Personable, knowledgeable and did a great job of getting us through crowds everywhere. He knows lots of tricks to help avoid waiting in long lines. And he knows Capri extremely well. We had a great day and I highly recommend him as a guide.

Paolo was a master at planning our day and making connections work so we were able to see everything on our list we wanted in the time frame we needed. The historical/ cultural information provided was somewhat basic but did give us a few insights about the islands history. We appreciated Paolo being on schedule,his energy, and making sure we fit in everything we wanted to see.
