I have worked for many years in restoration laboratories in Naples, Sorrento, Cava de' Tirreni, Pompeii and Oplontis. My area of expertise is the restoration of the pictorial film into frescoes, paintings on canvas, wood and statues. In 2014 I obtained the license to work as a tour guide of the Campania Region delivering tours in both Italian and English. At present, I have the fortune to be also involved in the tourist industry, organizing and designing itineraries and expecially guided tours. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with people from different ranges of cultural, professional and academic backgrounds. Licensed tour guide of the Campania Region (2015) Master's degree in History of Art at the University "Suor Orsola Benincasa" of Naples - final dissertation about the History of Restoration, with particular reference to the defense system of the Sorrento Coast from Roman times to the Unification of Italy (2007) Post-graduate degree master of Tourism Management at the University "Suor Orsola Benincasa" of Naples (2021) Qualification in Restoration of Paintings on Canvas and Tableaux at the Institute "M. Visconti" of Naples (2000) Training courses on Excavation's Principles and Methods, Restoration Diagnosis, and the Conservation of Ceramics at Faenza's "M.I.C. Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche" (2000-2001) I attended a seminar on Contemporary Art, Management and Settings at the Ara Pacis in Rome (2009) According to my country regulation, my guidance is allowed inside museums, archaeological areas, cities and more. Overview of your Sorrento tour
Let's visit Pompeii and Herculaneum in one day with the best highlights, with a full immersion in Roman life and towns! This tour consists of a marvellous walk around the ancient Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, buried in the ashes of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 AD. Yes, I'll be able to show you most of the highlights of both towns! A walk in Pompeii is a very intense experience; you'll have the feeling to be in a town that is still alive. I will tell you about its history and how the Romans used to live, showing you all the most important public buildings and private houses. Herculaneum is much smaller, but even better preserved then Pompeii. While Pompeii had been covered in four to five meters of ashes, an avalanche of muds 20 meters thick had buried Herculaneum: two-storey houses, carbonized wooden objects, paintings and mosaics are still preserved.

We were 2 adults and 5 teenagers, come down to Naples from Rome for a day to see Pompeii and Herculaneum. We were met by Francesco who was an excellent chauffeur for the day. Felicia was our guide round Pompeii and Herculaneum. The children voted her 10 out of 10. She is a brilliant guide. She is passionate about her subject, insightful, and she brings to life the city of 2000 years ago. She communicates with clarity and keeps her audience spellbound.
