Hi, my name is Laura, and I’m an Italian licensed tour guide. I was born in Sorrento, the town where I currently live. I’ve always been passionate about history, art, archaeology, and, of course, cooking, a perfect combination for designing well-balanced tours that blend local culture with outstanding food and wine experiences. My tours are a mix of in-depth information and a passionate emphasis on local culture and customs… a tour has to be deeply informative, but never an academic lecture! Since 1999, I’ve been guiding tours around the Campania region, and my passion has only grown, pushing me to improve and become better day after day. Today, I aim to showcase the beauty of Italy while taking care of every detail that makes each experience truly memorable. I am constantly learning, regularly attending new classes and university meetings to offer my guests a highly professional service and stay up to date with ongoing discoveries and studies, so you can experience them together with me. I have extensive know-how: from guided tours in the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Stabiae, Oplontis, and Paestum, to the magic of Capri and the enchanting Amalfi Coast; as well as exclusive cooking classes, luxury private boat tours, and walking tours in iconic Sorrento or Naples. I have always toured with people from all over the world, and I am able to adapt my tours to kids, teenagers, couples with babies, as well as older couples and senior groups. My knowledge is rich enough to ensure the best-calibrated combinations for each specific need. My travelers appreciate me as a tour guide, in particular for: - my highly professional tours - my deep knowledge - my problem-solving skills I also love to tailor-make every experience based on the people I interact with, and no one does it better than me. Booking a tour with me means being sure that you will have an unforgettable experience and a lifetime memory of my country. Below is a list of the tours I most love to give, but of course, it is not all, every tour can be tailor-made and flexible in itinerary, timing, and specific needs. I hope these few words have given you a sense of who I am. I look forward to meeting you and enjoying some experiences together. In any case, I wish you all the best for your Italian holiday.

We will explore the heart of Sorrento on a 2-hour walking tour, visiting Piazza Vittoria, Piazza Tasso, the Cathedral, the Cloister of San Francesco, and the ancient Valley of the Mills. Strolling through the charming alleys of the historic center, you will experience local life and discover the traditions of the area. From the city center, a private driver will take us to the upper Sorrentine Peninsula, where farmers have long produced cheese, olive oil, and wine. You will learn how these traditional activities are carried out, including a visit to the olive press (active October–December). Then enjoy a hands-on cooking class preparing gnocchi, pollo alla cacciatora, scarole alla contadina, and crostata with citrus jam. After lunch, return to your hotel in Sorrento.
N.B.: Please contact me before booking, for me to check the availability of the farm for the cooking class. The itinerary may include the cooking class first, based on availability. - Tasso Square - Valley of the Mills - Cathedral - Sedil Dominova - Vittoria square - Town Park - San Francesco cloister - Sant'Antonino Square and church - Agriturismo Galatea, Piano Di Sorrento - Drive back to Sorrento
