Hello everybody! I'm Sabrina, official tour guide of Campania Region, Italy. If you're looking for a guide able to offer you a professional tour about history and art but also a lovely experience with a friend to spend time with, I'm the right person! I'm in love with everything regarding the past, the artefacts, the ancient ruins and the lost traditions. But I also enjoy the present time with rap music, baking cakes, tabata workouts and thriller movies. If you give me a brush I can paint for hours! Or if you like walking we'd do together for miles and miles! Thanks to my studies, I worked in different roles in the world of tourism in my own city and abroad: as receptionist in hotels and b&b, as front-office in tourist point, as back-office for travel agencies, as infopoint, and much more. So I improved my skills but above all I spent my time to enrich myself with human interactions with people from all over the world. As a real genuine Neapolitan, I know every corner of my city and all places nearby, every legend (we have hundreds!), every typical dish (I love cooking, too) and every fascinating aspect of its thousands of years of history. As a tour guide I enjoy the best places of my wonderful Region every day and I never stop appreciating the beauty and the charm of them, so during my tours I try to let people see through my eyes as well as I feel them. Proud to be born in Italy, I can easily show you the distinctive places of Naples as well as the iconic views of the Amalfi Coast or the ancient secrets of Roman cities buried by the volcano Vesuvius. Overview of your Sorrento tour
Our tour starts with a delicious breakfast at a local café. We will be greeted with the inviting aroma of the espresso and a sweet delizia, a sponge cake filled and coated with lemon cream. As we venture through the cobblestone streets of Sorrento, we will make our way to a local market to sample IGP lemon products: limoncello, chocolate or candies! After that, we will stop at a picturesque spot in front of the Bay of Naples to step down to the port. There we'll savor the day's catch of fishermen. Fried, of course! Then we'll go back by elevator to taste some slides of a local pizzeria. Pizza in Sorrento follows the Vico Equense tradition, not the Naples one, that's why it's thicker and sold by the meter. As the end of the tour, there's nothing better than an handmade gelato in a peaceful garden. Join me as we explore the flavors of Sorrento through its gastronomic heritage.
