my name is Carlo, I was born in the lovely Sorrento in 1978 and that's where I grew up and still live with my family. My own town is a really beautiful place and being in contact with so many people from all over the world i've managed to meet fantastic people with totally different personality who helped me in my life. . . . . Anyway i've started working into the tourism when I was just 21 years old, so it's 18 years now. . . . and I work with the same passion of many years ago because i'm very proud of my country so I love to give to my clients (which will become than friends of mine) the opportunity of knowing the local history, to visit amazing places such as Pompei, Positano, the breathtaking Amalfi coast and the stunning Capri island and the Eternal City of Rome but I try specially to let them approaching to those places thought local's eyes. . . so they could have even a different point of view. I am licenced "commercial driver/guide" I am licenced "commercial driver/guide". I cannot do a guide-tour inside Archeological or historical sites like Pompeii, museums,etc as "local city guides" do. I can provide a licensed guide for the visit of archeological site at an extra cost.

Overview of your Sorrento tour
This tour will give to you the opportunity of being driven along one of the most beautiful coastal drive on the earth. You'll be picked up directly to your location and start the day tour with your driver guide, me obviously, happy of sharing all day long my knowledge of the area spotting and talking about the history of my beautiful land. We'll stop several times for amazing pictures along the coast, i'll suggest some of my favorite places for pictures but of course i'll be happy and ready to follow your needs. Our first main stop will be the charming town of Positano (better know as the Vertical Town. . . . and trust me, it's vertical), where you'll have the opportunity of visiting properly the lovely historical centre town. . . reaching the beach, where you'll have an amazing view. Later you'll be driven again along the coast where you'll admire to the sceneries and toured while driving with a little stop in Amalfi (if you desire) and then the best for last, I mean Ravello. . . unique place above Amalfi

We had a great experience with Carlo as our driver and tour guide along the Amalfi Coast. He picked us up in Sorrento and was an excellent driver and found nice spots along the way for pictures. We stopped in Ravello and enjoyed visiting the beautiful villas and gardens. He also arranged a lunch and wine tasting at a vineyard that we had requested. I highly recommend Carlo.

Carlo made our tour of the Amalfi coast very special & interesting. He provided lots of historical information and is obviously proud of his home region & was fun to be with all day. He made the tour completely stress free from pickup to drop off at our hotel. His vehicle was able to get us to locations the big bus tours were unable to go and we avoided the busier times for the locations due to his route planning & knowledge of the area. He also gave us nice time to explore the areas on our own after giving us a detailed orientation & information. I highly recommend Carlo & this tour!

You can't go wrong with Carlo...he was wonderful and made it so easy for us. He picked us up at our hotel on time and we were off and running. He was well versed about the beautiful seacoast of Amalfi, Ravello and beautiful Positano and answered all of our questions with a smile!! The highlight was a lunch at an authentic family owned restaurant away from the buzzling crowds and the food was wonderful!! We especially won't forget the owners boys playing soccer in the small street by their home and restaurant.

Your Sorrento tour itinerary
Regarding the tour along the Amalfi coast, I usually suggest to my clients to start the tour at 8am from Sorrento Port. I'll drive you along the great breathtaking Amalfi coast. •First visit will be Positano, it usually take just 30min to get there, of course, we can stop as many times you want on the way for pictures. •Once in Positano, i'll take you to the downtown of Positano(we do not have any road restrictions, as coaches, buses, etc). After 1 hour free time it's the time of keep driving along the coast. •Next direction Ravello, my favourite place, over there you are going to have 1 hour for lunch and 1 hour for visiting its villas, the Rufolo one is amazing. last stop will be Amalfi, more free time there too. *The tour usually last 8-9hours (8am to 4pm) Of course, dear Sir/madame, this is just a type of tour but we can plan it in a different way, I always like to follow my clients needs and customize the day tour.
