Hello, my name is Matteo, I am a native Sardinian and I've lived most of my life on this beautiful island, except for a couple of years in London and 6 months in Australia and France. I've also worked (as a civilian) for more than 8 years in an important international NATO base in the south of Sardinia. I have a Master's degree in foreign languages (English and French) but at the university, I've also studied the Sardinian language, Sardinian history, and traditions. I've also attended many courses in Sardinian Archeology, due to the vast number of prehistoric monuments we have in the island. Sardinia sometimes is compared to a continent, for its variety of landscapes, cultures, languages, and traditions. I would be delighted to present you my island in all its diversities and originality. We Sardinians love our island, we consider it as a very beautiful, special, and fascinating island and we are ready to show you around and demonstrate that our love is fully justified. On request, I can organize excursions with buses of 50 seats, boats, yachts, and helicopters. Excursions on the occasion of special events: religious, sporting, and local festivals. From 2025 my vehicle used for individual/small group tours will be the new Hyundai Staria Hybrid 2025. Contact me and I will be happy to organize your tour and give you all the information about events, places to visit, and the related costs. - Master's degree in foreign languages - University of Sassari - Italian tour guide licence n. 20001038 - Certificate of tourist guide n. 2020 - Region of Sardinia (Italy) None.

An excursion in the central part of the province of Gallura (north east of Sardinia) with its beautifully preserved and wild countryside and, after the tour, a dinner in one of the most famous farm restaurants of the area, where, with a very moderate price, you can have a complete menu with a large selection of all traditional Gallura dishes, accompanied by local wines and liqueurs. We start the tour with a visit to the countryside of Calangianus, the capital of cork oaks and cork industries. Not far from the village we will visit the "tomb of the giants" of Pascaredda, one of the best preserved prehistoric megalithic tombs in Sardinia, built around 4000 years ago. We will pass by Aggius, a picturesque village made entirely with granite and then we will move to the area of Luogosanto, a village famous for its sanctuaries, such as San Trano and the church of San Leonardo. In Luras, we will visit the dolmen of Ladas and Ciuledda. More than an excursion, a tribute to the beauty of gallura and its food.
Olbia or Arzachena, then to Calangianus, Luras, Tempio Pausania, Aggius, Luogosanto. The itinerary is fully customizable according to the preferences of the tourists.

The whole tour will be with a Hyundai Staria Hybrid 2025 model, a comfortable, air conditioned 9 seater vehicle (see photos in my profile).
