Hello, my name is Matteo, I am a native Sardinian and I've lived most of my life on this beautiful island, except for a couple of years in London and 6 months in Australia and France. I've also worked (as a civilian) for more than 8 years in an important international NATO base in the south of Sardinia. I have a Master's degree in foreign languages (English and French) but at the university, I've also studied the Sardinian language, Sardinian history, and traditions. I've also attended many courses in Sardinian Archeology, due to the vast number of prehistoric monuments we have in the island. Sardinia sometimes is compared to a continent, for its variety of landscapes, cultures, languages, and traditions. I would be delighted to present you my island in all its diversities and originality. We Sardinians love our island, we consider it as a very beautiful, special, and fascinating island and we are ready to show you around and demonstrate that our love is fully justified. On request, I can organize excursions with buses of 50 seats, boats, yachts, and helicopters. Excursions on the occasion of special events: religious, sporting, and local festivals. From 2025 my vehicle used for individual/small group tours will be the new Hyundai Staria Hybrid 2025. Contact me and I will be happy to organize your tour and give you all the information about events, places to visit, and the related costs. - Master's degree in foreign languages - University of Sassari - Italian tour guide licence n. 20001038 - Certificate of tourist guide n. 2020 - Region of Sardinia (Italy) None.

These two locations, San Pantaleo and Porto Rotondo, are both inside the municipality of Olbia and they have been characterized in the last 40 years by an intense artistic activity. Porto Rotondo hosting the works of some of the most famous Italian and international artists and San Pantaleo having, during the summer, EVERY THURSDAY MORNING, one of the most interesting artistic markets of North Sardinia.
Twelve Kilometers from the glamour and luxury of Costa Smeralda, there is another world, the picturesque village of SAN PANTALEO. Set between peaks of granite, this little old town still retains the typical style of the villages of Gallura. Begin of the '70 it was almost abandoned but then, a large group of artists have moved to the village, attracted by its timeless atmosphere and informality, far from the worldliness of the Costa Smeralda. Painters, potters and sculptors from all over Europe have created a bohemian community in SAN PANTALEO, working alongside an active group of Gallura artisans, skilled in handicrafts using wood, wrought iron, terracotta and ceramic. Every Thursday morning, there is a craft and food market, an unmissable opportunity to buy interesting pieces of art and fine local produce. After, we'll move to Portorotondo, a resort also fully dedicated to art, which hosts the works of some of the most important artists, like Ceroli, Guttuso, Cascella, De Gregorio, Chapalain, etc.
