Jameson Distillery, Cobh and Blarney Castle

The day we spent with Liam couldn't have been better! Liam met us promptly at the cruise ship terminal in Cobh and swiftly drove us to Blarney Castle where he knew he had to beat the crowds. He dropped us off and then found us in the queue to see the stone. We had no idea he was meeting us there and giving us a guided tour of the castle grounds! He knew the castle well and made our experience in queue feel like we were VIPs! He showed us areas around the castle many people would likely miss on their own like a hidden area among the vast trees. He then drove us through Cork onto Kinsale which is a charming town we walked around in and had a quick lunch. We ended the day with a quick stop at Midleton Distillery, the home of Jameson for a tasting. Liam whisked us back to the ship via a quick drive through of Cobh and showed us where the Titanic launched from. Liam was probably our favorite guide of all and he was so personable and accommodating. Our only wish is we had more time than the cruise ship spent in port.

Our tour with Liam was outstanding! He was able to take us to Blarney Castle before most people arrived so we didn’t have to wait long to kiss the stone. He was flexible and ensured he tailored the tour to places/things we wanted to see. We feel like we have a friend in Cork with Liam! 🩷Book him if you’re visiting the area-you won’t be disappointed!

Liam was our tour guide for the family tour of the City of Cork. He was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable and we had an amazing time and learned so much about the history of Ireland and Cork. My kids ages 9 and 7 were engaged the whole day and didn't want to leave at the end. I would definitely go on a tour with Liam again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to book a tour.

I was lucky to be able to book Liam on very short notice due to a change in our cruise schedule. Because the cruise ship wasn't originally scheduled to dock here there was a lot of confusion at the port and Liam was able to adjust and accommodate us and "roll with the punches". I booked the wrong tour but Liam was quick to change our schedule and brought us to places that were more suited to our interests. Had a great afternoon. Liam was entertaining and we enjoyed our afternoon with him.

Liam was enthusiastically knowledgeable and accommodating about the area and the history. He customized our day as we requested and we had a perfect day with Liam.

We had an AMAZING day with Liam! He truly went above and beyond to show us the history, sites and beauty of Cork! He is an amazing source of knowledge on Ireland-the people and the history, We also toured beautiful coastal Kinsale and historic Cobh. Liam was so thoughtful in locating and showing me the house where my grandfather was born and the church he was baptized in. It was truly a wonderful experience- enjoyed every minute! Definitely a highlight of our trip! I most highly recommend Liam!
