Family day trip: Cork city highlights and Blarney Castle

This is a fun day out for all the family. As a local I'll take you to places that are close to my heart. Places where I brought my own children . We'll go to where the tour buses can't go and as a local you'll hear stories only a local would know. We'll visit all the main attractions Cork from the Blarney Castle home to the famous Blarney Stone. To Saint Anne's Shandon, then down town to the English Market and followed by a visit to Saint Finbarr's Cathedral. We will enjoy a visit to Fitzgerald Park . Here the children will have some fun time with slides, swings and tunnels. We will visit Cork City's old water works. We can journey through the era of Victorian architecture and explore the machinery, including 100 year old engine's and boilers used in the steam age. Any budding young scientist's will particularly benefit from this visit. To round off a wonderful day out, before returning to your ship, we'll visit Leahys Open Farm suitable for all the family from babies right up to grannys and granddads.
