Hi! I’ve been living in Ireland since 2013, and over time I’ve fallen in love with this country just as much as my home country, Venezuela. I really enjoy sharing what I’ve discovered along the way—not just the history and culture, but also some great local pubs and places to eat around Cork City. I now live in Cobh, which I’m proud to call home. While it’s known for its beautiful views and colourful streets, there’s so much more to it. Cobh has a rich and fascinating history, especially its connections to the Titanic and the Lusitania, which make it a very special place to explore. In my free time, I love painting, writing, travelling, and making music. I also enjoy translating books and documents about Irish history—it’s a lovely way to keep learning and stay connected to the culture. I’ve been working in tourism since I moved to Ireland, guiding both small and large groups. In 2021, I became an accredited tour guide here. I speak English, Spanish, and French fluently, and I’ve had the opportunity to guide people from all over the world, as well as locals. I truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing perspectives—it’s always such a rewarding experience. One of my favourite things about guiding is that I’m always learning something new too.

Once known as Queenstown, Cobh is a charming coastal town brimming with breathtaking scenery. It has long held strategic importance, shaping its fascinating history. Today, Cobh is perhaps best known for its connections to the Titanic and Lusitania, stories that still echo through its colourful streets and waterfront. A beloved destination for both cruise visitors and locals seeking a weekend escape, Cobh effortlessly blends history, beauty, and atmosphere. Towering above it all is the magnificent cathedral, a striking landmark that looks impressive from every angle. Just a short journey from Cork City Centre, Cobh is easily reached by car or public transport. Our meeting point is very convenient, only a one-minute walk from the train station. From there, take your time and soak it all in on a relaxed, guided walk led by a certified local guide. We’ll make our way up to Saint Colman’s Cathedral, where sweeping views of the town and harbour await, an unforgettable reward at the top.
