We absolutely loved our guide Maurice! The four of us are cruise ship passengers and only had one day to see the sites. We had already done Blarney, so Maurice took us to Kinsale. Loved seeing that small, quaint town. Maurice stopped at a few places for us to get some photos, and also a surprise stop. On our return to Cork/Cobh, we stopped at the Midleton distillery in Cork County so my husband could do a small tasting, and select a whiskey for our son-in-law. It was an awesome place! After that he toured us around Cork, with a stop or two for views and photos. Maurice is a professional, knows his history, and is fun! He kept us engaged the entire day. If you are looking for a guide, Maurice is your man, hands down.

We would rate this tour 10 stars if possible. We met Maurice at the Annie Moore statue outside the cruise terminal. The day got better and better. Maurice is a very knowledgeable guide and a genuinely nice person. We began the day at Blarney Castle. We climbed the steps and kissed the Blarney Stone! Take time to walk the grounds as there are many interesting plant and tree species. You can also tour the home of the current castle owner. The bagpiper at Blarney is not to be missed. We toured Jameson/Midleton having a bite to eat at the café there. We took a drive through scenic Cork then headed to Cobh. The church is not to be missed and the view down into Cobh from the high point is stunning, Cobh was the port used for immigration years ago. We can't say enough good things about Maurice, he is a person you would like to call friend, be sure to take this tour!

Our tour with Maurice was the highlight of our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. He was funny, knowledgeable and was a true local. He brought us to s shopping Mecca which thrilled my wife! We kissed the Blarney stone, shopped local and went to see many amazing sites. End to the perfect day was praying together at the cathedral My wife had so much fun she hugged and kissed Maurice goodbye!

Great tour and guide

Your Cobh tour itinerary

-Meet and greet at the Annie Moore statue in Cobh which is right outside the cruise terminal arrival area in Cobh, from there we would leave for the famous Blarney castle and its stone. -After a climb to the top and a kiss of the stone then it's off to nearby Cork City to see the sights of this city that has a charter since 1185. -The English market and St. Finnbarres cathedral is a must. -From there its on to the town of Midleton home of the famous Jameson whiskey. Take a tour or just sample the fine products but its well worth a visit. -We leave and head back to Cobh where we will see the fabulous St. Colmans cathedral and of course the famous building that houses the Titanic experience that was once the actual building where 123 passengers embarked from on that ill-fated maiden voyage. -Plenty more to see in Cobh including the Heritage Center that maps the almost 3 million emigrants who left from Cork. -From there I will escort you to your ship and bid you a fond farewell. Customization possible!
