The great thing about a private tour, is that you can decide how much information and commentary you wish me to share with you, but I am equally happy for us to relax and listen to some great Irish music! Overview of your Cobh tour
Why not join me for a private tour to one of Ireland's most scenic regions, my home county of Kerry. Just one hour drive from your Cruise Ship, we cross over into County Kerry!, this picturesque area known as the kingdom. Our scenic route takes us to see part of the famous "Ring of Kerry" , the Lakes of Killarney, and the Killarney National Park. You can spend some time in the pretty town of Killarney, or why not visit nearby Ross Castle or Muckross House! The choice is yours! On this private tour, we can see hidden gems, great photo-stops and spend time at the places that you prefer - much easier than with a large tour group! See the true beauty of Ireland, with an experienced fun local guide. The most important thing for me is that you are relaxed and comfortable and assured that you will be back at the port in plenty of time to get back on board.
Your Cobh tour itinerary
- Once we depart the port the drive through County Cork and across into County Kerry takes approximately 1 hour. - While on the journey to Kerry, we enjoy a scenic route through beautiful countryside! If you wish, we will take a stop in one of the beautiful towns on the way and we will have photo-stops of the beautiful Lakes of Killarney and the amazing Killarney National Park. - Depending on ship departure time, and your own interests, you can choose how to spend the rest of the day. You can visit Muckross House or Ross Castle. You may wish to enjoy more time in the National Park, or in the town of Killarney! - We will head back to the Ship in plenty of time! If time allows, and if you wish, we can do a short tour of Cobh on the way back, a lovely small historic town next to the Cruise Terminal. I am flexible, and you can decide on the day! Tour can be customised as per your wishes.
