Derek was absolutely wonderful. He knew all af the locals. We had superior parking spots. Up close privileges. The day was full of special treats . The 9/11 tribute he gave was moving and the visit to the memorial garden a dear treasure. Thank you Derek for your time and love for life and Your pride for Ireland and the US.
Derek was fantastic. He collected us off a cruise, slightly delayed coming into Cobh, and gave our group of 5 a truly brilliant day. His brand new van was super comfortable and his itinerary delivered in spades. We like to move fast to ensure we see as much as possible and Derek really help to set the pace. We saw saw so much more than anticipated. Derek was very well informed, charming, erudite and funny. We all had a ball and wish we had more than a day to explore more of Ireland. We'll be back one day and Derek will be on our guide, hopefully for a week. Couldn't offer a higher recommendation for this guru guide.

Absolutely fabulous
From start to finish Derek was incredibly fast in responding to email inquiries.Our day was packed with several stops as we saw so much it was great.From Blarney Castle to Cathedral at the end we learned so much about this part of Ireland.We stopped at a wonderful restaurant in Kinsale and had some fabulous food including with my many food allergies I enjoyed a delicious Bacon n cheese hamburger with gluten free onion rings(OMG WERE SO DELICIOUS ) Thank you for a wonderful day and want to return some day.
Derek was a terrific guide, full of interesting information. We covered a lot of ground. Saw the lovely town of Cobh, strolled the beautiful grounds of Blarney Castle, and had a delicious lunch in the charming town of Kinsale. Derek was an excellent driver with a very clean and comfortable car. So glad we made the decision to hire Derek as our guide as we never could have covered this much territory on our own, not to mention the windy roads would have been an huge challenge. Wonderful Day!!
