My name is Dorothee and I will be your host here in beautiful Nice, France. I can say that I am the type of person who is active, and curious, who enjoys new projects. Born in Paris, I studied in Nice and I am an official trilingual tour guide since 2005. I am also a photographer, reporter, videomaker and casting director. I find everything creative very interesting, the same is the case with tourist guiding, it is something that is dynamic, always interesting and never the same. I like to connect with people and create cultural interactivity, share my experiences about the diversity of our culture, history and people. I created a non-profit organization to highlight and protect our heritage, I like to combine tourism and art and listen to what others have to say. As a tourist guide, besides Nice, I also worked in Paris, Spain, Italy, and Portugal I ve been a tourist guide teacher as well and I wrote 10 travel' guides about Peru and Argentina for the web : great advices, restaurants, history and itineraries, not to miss . . . illustrated with pictures. Overview of your Nice tour
On this tour walking tour you will discover a beautiful old town of Nice, the Promenade des Anglais, the Cours Saleya, the Castle Hill through a historical aspect. As we walk the streets I will do a private photo shooting of you at the best spots of Nice and the photos will be sent to you as an everlasting reminder of your sweet memories of NIce and Azure Coast. During the tour, we will do a break with a drink called "Noisette" and a savor a local dish called "La fougassette" at a Café of the Cours Saleya, next to the old Matisse' s house nd you will taste the typical salty dish of Nice called "la Socca", something I call "a must be done and can't be missed". And if you need any advice I would be very happy to help and share it with you.
Your Nice tour itinerary
Every morning time, at the Cours Saleya, it takes place the flower and food market, except on Mondays which is the Antic Market. The afternoon, there is no markets, it stops around 13h.
