My name is Dorothee and I will be your host here in beautiful Nice, France. I can say that I am the type of person who is active, and curious, who enjoys new projects. Born in Paris, I studied in Nice and I am an official trilingual tour guide since 2005. I am also a photographer, reporter, videomaker and casting director. I find everything creative very interesting, the same is the case with tourist guiding, it is something that is dynamic, always interesting and never the same. I like to connect with people and create cultural interactivity, share my experiences about the diversity of our culture, history and people. I created a non-profit organization to highlight and protect our heritage, I like to combine tourism and art and listen to what others have to say. As a tourist guide, besides Nice, I also worked in Paris, Spain, Italy, and Portugal I ve been a tourist guide teacher as well and I wrote 10 travel' guides about Peru and Argentina for the web : great advices, restaurants, history and itineraries, not to miss . . . illustrated with pictures. Excellent tour, very educational, dynamic. Visit of the old city, old market, synagogue, Jewish cemetery and unexpected Jewish history vignettes and fantastic recommendations for local food. Dorothee is very knowledgeable, educated, charming and friendly.

We had a lovely tour with Dorothee. We arrived 30 minutes late (I mixed up the time we were supposed to meet) and she was patient and gracious about it. Dorothee is very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as contemporary issues. She was willing to answer questions and provided a balanced perspective that included humor and interesting antidotes.

Dorothee was a terrific tour guide. She is very knowledgable, and could answer any question about the history of Nice. She was also very forthcoming with suggestions about things to do and places to eat in the area. It was a wonderful experience.
