Medieval villages of the Riviera - Private tour with a local Guide

Michel was an excellent guide in every way; he was courteous and communicated very well in English, was a very good driver, and focused on our stated interests in history, architecture, art, and the Provence village way of life. He was excellent at pointing out small details in the villages that illustrated the big picture, from the Greeks and Romans through the Middle Ages, Renaissance, the Republic, and up to the modern. He even found us a nice small village restaurant for lunch in early January when many restaurants are closed. We highly recommend Michel.

Michel was thoroughly prepared and did a wonderful job of describing the villages that we visited, particularly in the context of the history of Provence. He was very flexible in terms of our schedule. He was attentive to our needs. In fact, he went above and beyond in an effort to retrieve my cell phone which I had lost in a cab the day before. His tour and service is highly recommended.

Michelle was an awesome tour guide for the day - incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, funny, and drove a great car as well! We got a whirlwind day of beautiful mountain towns and villas, great food, and unique experiences.

We can't say enough about Michel. He provided a great tour. Michel was very engaging. He managed to keep the interest of my teenage daughters for 8 hours....very impressive!! We learned a lot about the area and saw some impressive sites all while having a great time. I highly recommend. The tour with Michel was highlight of our trip.

Michel was a fantastic guide and driver. He took us to places to that no one knew existed in addition to the ones we had planned. Michel was so good that we tried to hire him for the next 2 days in different but neighboring locations. Unfortunately he was already booked. Which was not surprising because of how good he was.
