Bonjour, I am Mathilde, and I would be very glad to welcome you to the French Riviera. I have been a Certified Tour Guide and Lecturer for more than ten years. Let me tell you briefly my story. I was born in Normandy. Close your eyes and imagine walking on Omaha Beach. It's raining, it's cold, and you feel the wind. Yep, a normal day in Normandy! I climbed several times to the top of Mont Saint Michel, the 8th wonder in the world... Then, I worked as a guide in the Loire Valley, where I learnt some of the secrets of the French monarchy. Guiding in Provence was also a great experience. The color I remember when I think about it? Purple, of course, because of the lavender fields! The taste I will never forget? The full-bodied red wine of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. For many years that I have lived in Nice, the weather has treated me well here... This region, nestled between the sea and the mountains, is an endless source of culture and emotion that I love sharing. I am passionate about history, architecture, art, museums, and travels. Even after all these years on the Côte d’Azur, I am still amazed by its bright cities, hilltop villages, colorful markets, and breathtaking panoramas... Through my tours, I want to offer you more than a simple visit; a true immersion into the French Riviera. Those years of experience taught me how to make sure you will have the best day in my region. Nothing pleases me more than someone who decides to come back after discovering the Riviera with me. I work in a way that I consider "tailor-made". You don't take "my tours", I provide the tour which is the most adapted to you. If you want something family-oriented, or cultural, or relaxed, or adapted to first-timers, of for foodies, or a mix of all that, then I adapt myself to make sure you remember this tour for years. I am looking forward to showing you the best of the French Riviera as only a Certified Tour Guide would. Don't hesitate to contact me for any questions. À bientôt! Mathilde - Certified Tour Guide & Lecturer (Nice University - Ministry of Tourism) Being a Certified Tour Guide, I have no restrictions; I can guide in museums and historic sites as well.
