I had a wonderful and full day with Feven. She is a lifer in Addis and very knowledgeable. We saw the sights and had a terrific local lunch and coffee. She showed me some community women’s projects I was interested in and we had time to shop there and also at a local coffee shop. She can pretty much arrange whatever you might want in and around Addis. She is also an amiable and very interesting person. I highly arrange a tour with Feven.
Feven is a gem! A 40 plus year local, she knows the ins and outs of Addis and Ethiopian culture and politics. She is extremely well educated and talented in many ways and is a great story teller. I would highly recommend booking any tour with her to gain a better understanding of not only the city, but the Ethiopian people and their culture and challenges.
Feven is an incredible human being who is heavily involved in community work. We found her tour and chatting with her about life in Ethiopia really thought provoking. We got the chance to see some of the children Feven is helping out, and I hope to stay in touch to see how I and my school can help in future. Feven carefully crafted a wonderful tour of Addis for our family (two adults and two kids aged 10yrs and 4yrs). She was exceptionally knowledgable about Addis, Ethiopia, and pan-African history. We experienced some very special places, including a jewelry-making collective that employs women with HIV (beautiful stuff!), a fantastic local restaurant, St. George's Church (including a private tour), and a trip to a local market to purchase hand-made local clothes for our kids. Recommend!
Feven is a special person. Very knowledgeable and speaks near perfect English. Her attributes include her caring for others less fortunate and developing strong social programs to better the welfare and opportunities for those she represents. We would visit wth her again.
