Your Addis Ababa tour itinerary
I will meet you at your hotel, Airport or any place in Addis Ababa. Then we drive to National Museum of Ethiopia. On the way we visit 'Victory monument', erected in honor of the liberty of Ethiopia from the 5 years Italy occupation. Visit the National Museum, displaying Ethiopia's cultural, historical and political events dated back to over 3000 years. Also learn human evolution and see the fossils of the oldest hominid (Lucy - 3. 2 million years old). Then we drive to Mount Entoto, for panoramic views of Addis Ababa. On the way visit 'Yekatit 12' monument built in memory of massacred Ethiopians by Italian forces following an attempted assassination of Marshal Rodolfo Graziani, on 02, 19, 1937. Then drive to Merkato (the biggest open air market in Africa), we will walk and visit the best cultural parts of the market. On our way back from Merkato, we visit Emperor Menelik statue, founder of modern Ethiopia. We will also visit Lion of Judah statue. Finally, we will drive back to your destination. #End
