Overview of your Luxor tour
In this full day trip on the west bank , we will visit the most interesting archaeological sites on the west bank such as the valley of the kings and valley of the queens and valley of the artisans and Hatshepsut temple and habu temple with lunch included. West Luxor was called in the ancient Egyptian civilization the city of the dead. Why? Because it contains the tombs of kings, the tombs of queens, as well as the tombs of workers. Also, the funerary temples and the choice of the west side to have the tombs in it is a religious reason because the sunsets from the west.
Your Luxor tour itinerary
Our day will be as follows; - Valley of the Kings: we will spend two and half hours max there. - Valley of the Queens: we will spend one hour max there. - Valley of the Artisans: we will spend one hour max there. - Hatshepsut temple: we spend over one hour there. - Habu temple: we spend one hour max there. - Lunch meal (not included in tour price). Driving time is about one hour from east side to the west side and it is about ten minutes drive between the locations on the west. You will see and visit all the sites from the inside. I will be the personal guide on all locations. *Please note: I am not allowed to go inside any of the tombs in kings or queens valley as it is prohibited for the guide.
