“A memory that will linger for a lifetime”.... George delivered an incredibly unique and personalised tour that took us to one of the oldest and most original village houses on the West Bank. The family opened their modest rural home to us with such pride and excitement that we felt humbled and honoured to be able to glimpse their daily life. It is a step back in time of hardened earth floors, bullocks and other farm animals in the small back area and an open second floor that allowed for the drying process of various foods. Tea and coffee was freshly prepared and offered as we sat on their handmade settee that doubles as a family bed after dark. George was our interpreter, teacher and guide. We smiled with wonder and appreciation as the family beamed when we asked for photos. This was such an unparalleled experience that the memory will linger longer than most travel moments.

Come to see our great monuments to discover with me how they managed to build and carve more than a thousand reliefs on it and why! The river Nile divided Luxor to east and west bank where they dig tombs and built funerary temples. I would like to show you the magnificence and the beauty of my city from my eyes view and walk around the amazing tombs in the Valley of the Kings or gate of kings where they hid it under the qurnah Mountain and the funerary Queen Hatshepsut's Temple carved under the hill.

George toured our group of six around Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor, and many sights in between for four days (plus transit to and from the airports in Aswan and Luxor). He is funny, knowledgable, and great company. George worked with us to create the perfect itinerary, including a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings. He suggested some amazing temples and tombs that not everyone sees. I'd recommend him to anyone traveling to the Luxor area. We had a great time that we will remember forever!

*Tour Highlight: - Valley of the Kings - Hatshepsut Temple - Colossi of Memnon *Tour Itinerary: - We start our tour by picking you up from your hotel in Luxor City. - Then we drive from the East Bank of Luxor to the West Bank where we'll visit first the Kings Valley where you can visit only 3 Tombs per ticket (if you wish to visit the tomb of Tut Ankh Amun, you will need an extra ticket). - After that we'll go through the new work men's village and have quick stop to let the worker show you how they carve there stone and decorate it. - Then will visit the Mortuary (funerary) Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. - We will end our tour on the West Bank by visiting the famous 2 Colossi of Memnon. - Finally, I will drop you off at your hotel.
