I am an active professional tour guide who prides himself on my ability to add personal touches to every tour I conduct. It is extremely important to me that my guests return home with experiences to remember. I have many years of experience in guiding tours all over Egypt's cities. As an Egyptology Specialist with several contacts and years of experience, I'm able to help travelers with their plans and itineraries. I have several years working with people from all around the world, showing them what we have here. I'm also currently teaching in a University where I work with very important professionals in the world of my field. I am looking to have more travellers giving that I can provide the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable visits to my country, so I can also do my part to contribute to the local economy bringing more people to Egypt. I started my studies in 1993 at Cairo University, where I graduated in 1997, acquiring a diploma that was followed by a Master's degree in Egyptology. I studied with Dr. Lens Zou, once Dean of the Chicago Institute in Luxor, from whom I learned a lot about the secrets of this ancient civilization. Then I worked in many archaeological missions and exploratory and touristic trips as well. Dr. Hassan Khalil also had a great influence on me after the death of Dr. Lens, and I have worked since 2002 as a guide for different groups of tourists, including American, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian, until today. Licensed Tour Guide with over 20 years of experience. Master's Degree in Egyptology University Professor of Egyptology -We will have a vehicle from a legalized and modern tourism company with a hired professional driver for our tours, I will be solely guiding you in all places.

I want this trip to become a little Egyptology course in which each visit serves to learn a little more about the immense culture of ancient Egypt. Regardless, I will also try to bring you closer to the Egypt of today: to the friendliness of our people (who will not hesitate to chat with you and invite you to tea), without forgetting, either, that tourism is one of their most important sources of income. We will visit the Valley of the Kings to learn about the royal tombs and how they work. then we will learn about other sorts of funerary constructions, the place where those who made those tombs used, and the country itself. We will also see the city of Luxor and its temples! The idea of this tour is based on something as simple (and at the same time, complex) as taking a trip on which you can learn beyond seeing, feel beyond consuming and imagine, beyond contemplating. Don't wait anymore, join me and let me help you start your own adventure!
·In the early morning, after picking you up from an arranged location, we'll move to visit The Valley of the Kings, where you'll get to know some of the royal tombs and their history, plus information about art and sculptures in the era of the Egyptian state. Not every tomb is open every day, so we'll always have different choices depending on the day of the tour. ·2 hours later, you'll get to know the city of artisans and engineers who made the Valley of the Kings with their hands, Deir el Medina. We'll explore its entrances, exits, schools, markets & temples. ·Later, we'll identify three tombs made for workers, where the size is smaller than the tombs of the kings, but they contain great beauty, which is enhanced after having seen the city where those who used their hands to make that beauty and art used to live. ·At the end of the trip, we will get acquainted with two statues of King Amenhotep III, who are known as the Colossi of Memnon. ·Lastly I'll drop you off at your lodging or preferred location.

An air-conditioned 16 seater Toyota van will be used for up to 8 travellers. If you're more than 8, please let me know and I can budget a customized tour with a bigger vehicle. The law in Egypt doesn't allow us to seat more than half a vehicle's capacity.
