Full Day Tour of Luxor

This was our first experience in Egypt and we couldn’t have been more pleased having George as our guide! George has a deep knowledge and passion for the amazing sites surrounding Luxor. We left with a clear understanding of ancient Egyptian art, history, and culture. The full day allowed us to see numerous sites and it flew by, leaving us wanting more. I will return to Egypt someday and won’t hesitate to reach out to George.

He was on time, provided a luxury van and safe driver, was very knowledgeable in all the historical sites we visited and provided guidance on the local customs and navigating merchants along the way. George provided an excellent two day customized tour of Luxor’s West Bank, designed to accommodate all of the stops requested on our list. His vast knowledge of history and culture brought to life the tombs and temples of pharaohs, nobles, and everyday workers in ancient Egypt. We did two half day tours with George Habib. He was timely, knowledgeable and took all of the hassle out of touring Luxor. Everything from pick up to drop off George had it under control, he taught us a lot, showed us things that many others were not seeing because they had to hustle to keep up with their tours and in the process became my friend. Our family of four adults wanted to see the historical sites around Luxor. Having experienced tours where you battle in a large group, with a guide skimming facts and getting waylaid by the same people all the time, we determined to do better. George came up in our searches. An experienced guide of over 20 years. It was good to hear from him how his knowledge is constantly updated through courses and his own research. George was happy to bespoke things. He gave us suggestions and options and we opted for a day and a half, during which we covered all of the main sites, some not covered by the generic group offerings. We travelled in a small minibus and at each location George assisted with tickets and gave us a detailed tour. His knowledge, enthusiasm and flexibility were exceptional. The days were well managed. We were highly satisfied and do not hesitate to recommend him.
