Today, visitors are still awed by this city, the world's greatest open-air museum filled with awe-inspiring monuments of ancient civilizations. In the east stands the City of the Living, where the life-giving sun rises; and in the west lays the City of the Dead, where the sun, in its never-ending orbit, bids farewell to life. If you chose to visit Luxor and you got only one day and you want to see the most visited and attractive sights in Luxor, join me on this tour to show you the beautiful tombs of the Valley of Kings and will lead you to the tomb of the boy king Tut and climb up the temple of the queen Hat Shep Sut which will enable you to shoot the best photos of the temple and its surroundings. I won't let you leave before you walk between the forest of the gigantic columns in Karnak temples and show you the image and name of Alexander the Great in Luxor temple and a lot more! I promise, you will have a memorable experience touring Luxor with me.
We will see: - The Valley of the Kings tombs. - Queen Hatshepsut funerary temple. - The Colossi of Memnon. - Karnak temple. - Luxor temple. The itinerary in details: - Early in the morning, I will pick you up from your hotel. - We drive to the west bank of Luxor, where we will visit the Kings Valley and you are able to visit 3 tombs by your main ticket (if you wish to visit the tomb of Tut Ankh Amon, you will need an extra ticket). - Then we'll see the mortuary (funerary) temple of queen Hat Shep Sut (the lady Pharaoh). - We will end our tour on the west bank with a visit to the famous Colossi of Memnon, then we head back to the east bank of Luxor enjoying a lunch break on the way (can be arranged upon request). - Later and after the rest time, we will proceed to see both Karnak and Luxor temples. - The end of your tour, you will be escorted back to your hotel. This is my suggested itinerary, but we can customize it at your needs.
