Luxor Full Day Tour

Ahmed was a superb guide. From his confirmation messages in advance of our meeting and his punctuality in meeting us in our hotel lobby, he was the consummate professional guide. His knowledge of and enthusiasm for his subject matter – the many archaeological wonders in and around Luxor – could not possibly be better. He is personable and engaging, and the full-day tour flew by so quickly. I cannot recommend Ahmed highly enough. Anyone would be fortunate to have him as a guide and as a friend.

Our tour with Ahmed was an absolutely exceptional experience, defined by his great knowledge and genuine passion that brought the history to life, seamlessly meeting and exceeding all of our expectations for the day. We especially appreciated his open-minded approach to guiding, which fostered interactive discussions about the profound influence of ancient history on our modern world. To top off the perfect day, Ahmed thoughtfully treated us to some truly amazing falafels, which were undeniably one of the culinary highlights of our entire trip to Egypt, making the excursion memorable both culturally and gastronomically.

We had an amazing 5-day experience with Ahmed! We spent 3 days in Luxor and 2 days in Cairo, and every moment was perfectly organized. Ahmed provided excellent door-to-door service with a fantastic driver and a very comfortable vehicle for our group of nine. He customized the tour to our interests, including an unforgettable hot air balloon ride in Luxor. Ahmed is incredibly knowledgeable about Egypt’s history and culture, and he shared fascinating stories at every site. After highlighting the key details, he always gave us time to explore, take photos, and soak in the atmosphere at our own pace. Ahmed is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares that everyone in the group is happy. Highly recommend and don’t miss trying the fresh mango juice!

Ahmed Hassaan was our guide for one day for our family tour, 6 adults and 2 small children. He had arranged a very comfortable van with driver. Ahmed took us to karnak/amon temple complex, valley of the kings, hatsjepsoet temple, the kolossus of memmon. The cherry on cake was a visit to an alabaster factory where we saw magnificent hand made products. Ahmed has a vast knowledge of egypt history, is very friendly and flexible. He wants to make your visit a big success. He fluent in english language

I only had one day to visit Luxor from Cairo and decided to book my own flights and my own tour. Spending the day with Ahmed has been one of the best tours I've done in my life. I asked Ahmed to collect me from Luxor airport at 8am with his driver and drop me back at 10.30pm to fly back to Cairo. During the day we got tea, visited Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings, A local stonemason shop with working artisans, lunch, Colossi of Memnon, Hatshepsut Temple, Habu Temple, Felucca Ride on the Nile and Luxor Temple. Ahmed is a well respected guide by his peers and we met some of his students during the day. He has over 20 years experience and lots of knowledge, showing me best bits of each place. His approach is to talk and guide you around each place then give you free time to explore and take photos after by yourself. Extra tombs worth paying for at VOTK. Felluca ride at sunset was relaxing
