I have been a tour guide for over 20 years, which adds to my passion for Egyptian history. I have a bachelor's degree in Egyptology and I have been to 25 countries, so I was exposed to many cultures, therefore I'm very flexible and adaptable to tourists with different backgrounds. I organize tours from A to Z; including transportation, reservation and guiding for small or large groups; whether you're in Luxor for a short time or going on a cruise for a few days, my expertise covers Luxor and the surrounding towns with all the monumental sites and fun excursions you might be interested in. I work on a freelance basis so I do tours for travel agencies plus organize my own tours based on my clients' preferred itineraries. Besides archaeological sites, I can also recommend places to eat or go shopping at, as well as advise you on what to do and what to avoid. I do enjoy working with people as I have spent most of my career life meeting people from different backgrounds and taking them around on different tours. Luxor has a lot to offer travellers, especially when it comes to history; I'd rate it as the most interesting historical city in the world as it houses some of the best well preserved and famous ancient temples & tombs. Whether you like history or just marking down your travel list, Luxor will definitely amaze you and you will want to come back to see more of it. The one advice I often give to travelers before they come here, is that they should spend at least 2 days in Luxor considering the amount of interesting sites you can visit without being under the pressure of rushing around or missing some of those wonderful places. Once you decide to book a tour you'll be taken care of from A to Z; I do live in Luxor and I know the tiny secrets of this town, and will be happy to help you out with any info, even if you don't book me as your tour guide. Ancient Egyptian history is very precious and our duty as tour guides is to show it to the world in appreciation to the great pharaohs and their unique civilization, regardless of how much we should profit from that job. Visiting Egypt in general can be a bit challenging at some points, but having a tour guide or at least an honest advice from a local is a big advantage and can avoid you some clouds you may not want to come across . Once again I'm happy to help any tourist that visits Luxor, keeping in mind that it's the reputation of our country and a positive feedback for future travelers. Wish you all safe and enjoyable travels! Bachelor's of Egyptology and history. Tour Guide Licenses from both the Ministry of Tourism and the Tour Guides Syndicate. 20+ Years of Experience guiding None.

We will be focusing on the must-see points for travellers to visit in the city of Luxor. The West Bank includes the Valley of the Kings, which was their burial place, and on this tour we'll cover 3 tombs, but more could be added upon request. We'll also visit Queen Hatshepsut temple with its unique, magnificent architecture, where I'll share the interesting story of how she ruled Egypt like a king for 22 years, and do a short stop at the Memnon Colossi as well. With regards to the East Bank, we will be visiting the Karnak Temples there, which is the largest monumental complex on earth with giant columns, gates and obelisks, which will make you think again whether the Giza Pyramids should be among the seven wonders of the ancient world or if the Karnak Temples deserve it more. On top of that, with a short ride to Luxor temple we'll get to see the very famous Sphinx Avenue, which was recently excavated, bringing history back to life. It stretches for 2 miles, linking the Karnak and Luxor temples.
- We'll begin with a pick-up from your location within Luxor. - We'll then drive to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings. - On arrival, we'd visit the tombs of Rameses III, Rameses IV and king Tutankhamun, but more could be added upon request. Be aware that sometimes some tombs go under repairs or restorations that might make them unavailable, but there will always be other tombs available to visit instead in any case. - Next, we'll visit Hatshepsut Temple and see the Colossi of Memnon too. - Afterwards, we'll Drive to the East Bank for a lunch break at a desired restaurant (I would of course offer you recommendations). - After lunch, we'll continue our tour and visit the Karnak Temples. - Later, we'll drive across Sphinx Avenue, surrounded by amazing sculptures. - At last, we'll visit the astonishing Luxor temple. - In the end, I'll drop you off at your desired location. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
