I have been a tour guide for over 20 years, which adds to my passion for Egyptian history. I have a bachelor's degree in Egyptology and I have been to 25 countries, so I was exposed to many cultures, therefore I'm very flexible and adaptable to tourists with different backgrounds. Luxor has a lot to offer travellers, especially when it comes to history; I'd rate it as the most interesting historical city in the world as it houses some of the best well preserved and famous ancient temples & tombs. Whether you like history or just marking down your travel list, Luxor will definitely amaze you and you will want to come back to see more of it. The one advice I often give to travelers before they come here, is that they should spend at least 2 days in Luxor considering the amount of interesting sites you can visit without being under the pressure of rushing around or missing some of those wonderful places. Visiting Egypt in general can be a bit challenging at some points, but having a tour guide or at least an honest advice from a local is a big advantage and can avoid you some clouds you may not want to come across .
