Let's travel back in time to around 1600 b. c, when Luxor was the capital city of Egypt, the most important one in the country. We'll cover the West Bank of Luxor and visit the most important of its areas, the Valley of the Kings, where over 60 royal tombs of Ancient Egypt's Kings lay. Among these, we'll see the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut who ruled Egypt for about 22 years, having built her magnificent temple near this aforementioned Valley. From one valley, we'll go to another, reaching the Valley of Artisans (Deir el Madina), a place which used to be a village where all workers and supervisors of the New Kingdom (1550 b. c) used to live and build tombs. Being a private tour, it'll always be flexible to what you want, and having lunch in a recommended local restaurant is always an option. At the east Bank of the Nile, we'll visit Karnak temple, which is regarded as the biggest from the Ancient World, the main temple of God Amun Ra. We'll also visit Luxor Temple, widely considered a piece of art.
•The tour will start with a pickup from your accomodation or any other location, and driving to east bank What follows will be Karnak temple. •We'll end the first day tour with the temple eponymous to the city: Luxor Temple. on next day morning •We'll first cover the legendary Valley of the Kings. •We'll visit the magnificent mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. •We'll then come across the colossal of memnon. -At any given point, we could arrange for you to have lunch in an Egyptian restaurant that I'm happy to recommend. • After all of this, we'll drive back to the pickup location. This itinerary could be customized according to your needs.
