Six Hours Tour to Terezín
Overview of your Prague tour
I will pick you up with a professional driver at 9 am in a lobby of the hotel you are located in. It takes approximately an hour to reach Terezín town from Prague. Entrance fee is included in the tour. Our first visit will be a Small Fortress and the National Cemetery, set up shortly after the country's liberation in 1945. Then we will visit Museum Ghetto, Jewish Prayer Room and Magdeburg Barracks. After the tour we will have delicious Czech meal in a local small restaurant you will enjoy.
Your Prague tour itinerary
Our first visit will be a Small Fortress, the political prison and the National Cemetery, set up shortly after the country's liberation in 1945. Then we will visit Museum Ghetto with a Central exposition on the history of the Terezín ghetto. Part of it is dedicated to children. Very nearby is a Jewish Prayer Room with its original paints, a must to see. Magdeburg Barracks where is located the Art museum is my favorite place to go. We also visit a crematorium and Jewish cemetery. The last place which is very impressive is a memorial site at the Ohře river where 22,000 urns with the cremated remains of the Terezín ghetto victims were dumped into the river Ohře in November 1944. After the tour we will visit a lovely small town in a close visinity from Terezín where we have delicious Czech meal in a local small restaurant you will enjoy.
