This stunning medieval town Kutna Hora is very close to Prague (1h 15 min drive). Its Bone Church (Ossuary, sometimes incorrectly referred to as "Prague Bone Church") definitely belongs to one of the most interesting sights in Europe. The experience of visiting this place is irreplaceable. It was recognized as a precious world heritage by UNESCO. Kutna Hora town experienced a "silver rush" in the medieval times. Thanks to rich silver mines supplying at one point about one third of Europe the city competed with Prague for the most important position in the kingdom. We will see all the beauty done by medieval masters financed from silver - two magnificent cathedrals, Kutna Hora's "Charles Bridge", Royal Palace and more. Afterwards we will enjoy a tasty yummy Czech lunch (included) in a local restaurant. I'm always happy to adjust the program to your needs, interests and preferred pace. Enjoy!
While they may be common in Europe, Bone Churches were not familiar to us until Michal drove us and toured us through Kutna Hora; the whole experience was powerful and moving. Michal is a terrific guide who we highly recommend. He is very knowledgeable and delivers his wealth of knowledge in an easy, digestible way, connecting all the dots, no matter how many naive questions asked! He is adaptable to each person and the group in general and his English is perfect!

Michael was a great tour guide. He took my wife and I to the bone church. It's was fantastic. You can go own your own, but you will miss so much of the history that surrounds the church.
