Pozdravy z Prahy! (Greetings from Prague!) My name is Ljuba (or Luba or Lyuba - there are several ways to spell it). Translated, my name means "love", and I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to the Golden City! I started working as a tour guide in Prague in 1994, when I was still a student. Communism had just barely ended and foreign - especially western - tourists were becoming a more common sight. Much has changed since then, but I still enjoy sharing my love of Prague with visitors from all over the world. I specialize in Jewish tours due to my family heritage, but I've been doing this job for long enough now that I'm happy to show you any aspect of Prague you're most interested in. My two decades of experience have given me deep insight into the many hidden gems this city has to offer - gems less-experience guides might not be familiar with. After working for so many years with tourists, I know that your time in a foreign city is valuable and limited. My job is to ensure that you get the most out of your visit - not just rushing through the sites. I pride myself not only on being a professional but also on providing great personal attention to all of my customers. Those who come on my tours leave Prague with a feeling that they are not only my clients but my friends as well. I have guided people from all walks of life, from politicians and movie stars to the backpacking student traveling on a budget. I offer both standard introductory tours for people who've never been here before and specialist packages for those interested in some specific aspect of Prague's history or culture. I can also make tailor-made tours on any part of Prague you would like to see. Tours are what I specialize in, but thanks to the vast network of connections that I've built up over the years, I can also plan and book your entire trip, from airport transfers to hotel reservations and event tickets - I do it all! If you buy something in a store that turns out to be defective, you can easily get a refund. One of the most comprehensive tours you can take in Prague! Working as a guide for over 25 years, I know your time is very precious. I will show you as much as I can in a couple of hours so you will have the best experience. This tour is best for those who want to experience a general city tour and explore the fascinating Jewish Quarter - my speciality- all in one day! You will be educated about Pragues fascinating History all whilst having a fun and enjoyable time. We will visit some of Pragues hidden gems and learn many fun and interesting facts along the way. It will be a day to remember for sure! We will start by viewing Wenceslas Square, the State Opera House, the National Museum and the statue of St Wenceslas. Next up is a visit to Prague Castle and a stroll around the vast exteriors of the castle. We will then view the Old Town and stop for lunch. After lunch, we will visit Prague's infamous Jewish Quarter, several famous synagogues, and the Old Jewish cemetery.
A full day of touring this incredible city. The morning included many historical and cultural sites. We really enjoyed Ljuba’s enthusiasm and knowledge. As a lifelong Czech resident she had a deep perspective of growing up here. The castle was very special and the views are spectacular. The afternoon included a detailed review of the Jewish heritage. Her personal perspective was moving. We were very lucky to have such a great guide.

Luba is an absolutely great and knowledgeable guide, with oerfect customer skills and a lot of excellent knowledge about history of Prague and Jewish history. We spent whole day with her and were really impressed by her level of professionalism. We would highly recommend her without any hesitation.

Lula is an excellent guide. We spent 2 full days touring with her. She is knowledgeable in history, and incorporates anecdotes and detailed information as part of her tour. She pointed out small gems of interest, and has taken us to various vantage points of both historic value and great photo ops. It was a very cold day and Lula shared with us a warm cup of coffee that she brought with her and some local home made Christmas cookies which were delicious. The first part of the tour is a mixture of walking and transport by private car or passenger van (depending on the number of people in your group) with a driver to maximize the sites you will see in the most efficient way possible. When we break for lunch, we will then continue on foot throughout the Jewish Quarter.
