Hello everyone! My name is Varvara and I am a professional guide in Prague. I am a translator by first education, therefore I have magical skills to translate from a boring historical to modern interesting language! If you arrive just for a couple of days, or passing through the city, you need to be navigated not miss the main attractions. Guidebooks do not provide comprehensive information, which is also incredibly difficult to understand. So here I am! I will draw up an individual tour for you around the city, museums, at a time suitable for you. After all, the tour is not limited to a strict monotonous program, it is always communication, it is an opportunity to dive into the details that guidebooks will not tell about. I am pleased to give advice on which restaurant to choose, show where they brew tasty beer, and what Czech dishes are worth a try. Come to Prague, Czech Republic, it will not disappoint you! And I will help you to love it and I will reveal all its secrets! I have a master degree in Economics and management. I am a translator of professional communication but 6 years I decided to do what I love. I love history that is why I have got my guide license. And now enjoy my work every day! I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Are you planning to go sightseeing in Prague? The best way is to start from the very beginning! I invite you to join me on Kings Road. During the tour will be walking through the narrow and picturesque streets of the historical center. We will enter the medieval ages through the first attraction - the Powder Tower. We will join the procession of the coronation and continue our walking across Old Town Square to Chargers Bridge. Don't forget to take pictures of the stairs and the Prague view from a different perspective. These stairs are leading you to Prague Castle. And so now we are in the place of the king - Prague Castle. If you want to spend an excellent day in Prague, this is for you!

Varvara made our half-day private tour of Prague an absolutely unforgettable experience. From the very first minute, it was clear we were in the hands of a true expert: her knowledge of European history was extraordinary, delivered with the depth and precision of a well-researched history book, yet never once did it feel like a lecture. What truly set Varvara apart was her ability to translate that deep historical knowledge into something engaging and accessible. She has a natural talent for storytelling, weaving facts, anecdotes, and context together in a way that made centuries of history come alive. Rather than simply reciting dates and names, she turned the tour into an interactive experience, asking questions, encouraging discussion, and making sure everyone in our group stayed engaged and entertained throughout. The itinerary itself was perfectly balanced. We saw Prague's iconic highlights, but Varvara also guided us through hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own, off the beaten path spots that added real depth and character to our understanding of the city. What impressed us most, though, was her flexibility and creativity. We mentioned a rather unusual request: to follow in the footsteps of Robert Langdon through Prague, inspired by the fictional symbologist's adventures. Without hesitation, Varvara embraced the idea and seamlessly wove it into our tour, pointing out locations, symbols, and architectural details that connected Prague's rich history to the world of mystery and symbolism. It was a wonderfully creative touch that made the tour feel truly personalized. Varvara combines encyclopedic knowledge, natural charisma, and genuine adaptability in a way that's rare to find. She didn't just show us Prague, she made us feel it. We left the tour with a much deeper appreciation for the city's history and stories to tell for years to come. We cannot recommend Varvara highly enough. If you want a guide who is knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely invested in giving you a unique, personalized experience, book her without hesitation. Five stars, without question.
Varvara was amazing in how quickly she put us at ease and then listened to the questions we asked to tailor the tour to our interests. We have had tour guides in the past that had a standard tour route with a prescribed narration that they were committed to regardless of our interests. Varvara was clearly altering the route and narration to match our interests. It was an excellent and enjoyable tour. She was also helpful with restaurant and dining tips and how to use the public transport. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Varvara!
Varvara covered many of the amazing sites while she spoke of the long history of Prague. A great tour guide.
Varvara gave us our favorite tour of our trip amongst Budapest, Vienna, and Prague. We got all of the highlights of the city of Prague including your basic history lessons, some fun back stories, and little quizzes along the way. She was good natured and pointed other tourists who were a little lost in the right direction. Our four hour walking tour went fast, and we would recommend Varvara to anyone visiting Prague who wants to get to know more about the city from someone who clearly enjoys it.
