Dear customers. I am Lukas and I was born and raised in the historical centre of Prague. I love travelling and after getting hands-on experience exploring numerous countries, I decided to become a tour guide in my hometown. When I finished studying history and social communications, I started off as a tour leader in a Czech Travel agency and then became an official licensed Tour Guide of Prague and in the Czech Republic in 2007. Since 2014 I have been the owner of the Visita Praga Travel Agency Having grown up learning about this splendid and mysterious country, I decided to transform my passion for history and art into a profession. I love being a tour guide, meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I would be delighted to show you around the Jewish quarter, tell you more about the impact of World War II and communism and help you take amazing photos of unique places. All my tours are fully customizable based upon your requests ans wishes Prague is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and, with 9 million tourists passing through each year, it is one of the most visited cities in Europe. The historic center of Prague has been part of the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites since 1992. Prague, with its wonderfully preserved historical center, is known as the Golden City or City of One Hundred Towers. It is its magnificence and charm that leads to many of our visitors choosing to return to the fascinating city of Prague again and again after their first visit. I look forward to welcoming and showing you Prague! Lukas Licensed Prague guide since 2007. As a licensed guide, I have no restrictions.

Have you ever heard the name Lidice? Perhaps yes, because the story of this village touches the world. When Czech paratroopers committed the assassination of R. Heindrich, Nazi leaders decided to choose one village as the spot of their revenge, and they erased it from the face of the Earth and from the memories of the people. That village was Lidice, an innocent little hamlet near Prague. So, on 10 June 1942, the village was encircled. All the men were killed, all the women were sent to concentration camps to work, and all the children were evaluated. If a child corresponded with the Aryan type, they were send away for Germanization. The rest were murdered. The village was demolished and erased from the map. The Nazis used the village to display their ability to eradicate and expunge a "lesser" village. The world's response was amazing. Immediately, many villages all over the world renamed themselves "Lidice. " Streets, neighborhoods, and quarters in cities were renamed to "Lidice, "
