Tanto este tour como otros tres que hicimos en Praga los hicimos con Elkin Cantillo, pues Lenka estaba enferma (y ya mejor, afortunadamente). Lenka estuvo al pendiente de nosotros todo el tiempo dándonos las mejores recomendaciones de restaurantes, brindándonos un tour muy especial en la biblioteca del Palacio Strahov y muy cerca de nosotros. Elkin fué un guía maravilloso en los cuatro días: conocedor, culto, brillante y muy simpático en sus comentarios, muy empático, y dando en cada uno de los días el extra, pues los tours duraban dos a tres horas más de lo contratado. Realmente, daban ganas de no terminar el recorrido. Si van a ir a Praga y a Karlovy Vary, no dejen de buscarlos. Nos sentimos muy honrados y especiales en esos maravillosos días en esas ciudades tan hermosas.

Daytrip in a spacious vehicle to the famous Carlsbad and charming medieval town Loket
Overview of your Prague tour
In less than two hours spent in my comfortable VW TOURAN multivan (2025), I will drive you to the famous spa town Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) where I show you that the history here still keeps living! I especially love this place because it always has been my favorite vacation place where I love to go with my family friends. Karlovy Vary is the hometown of the renown Karlovy Vary international cinema festival that has hosted many of the movie stars as for example John Travolta or Robert Redford. The Karlovy Vary charm attracted several Holywood producers to film here movies such as Last holiday or Casino Royale. Take a leisure walk through the city and absorb the unique atmosphere while tasting the mineral springs with healing effects. As a special treat, I will show you a nearby town Loket where you can step back in time and feel like in fairytale as the history of this town dates back to the 12 century. If you enjoy the spa atmosphere, colorful architecture and medieval castles this tour is right for you!

We travel quite a bit. Lenka is a special person. She is kind, intuitive, and well traveled herself. She arranged a wonderful time in Prague and Karlovy Vary. She thought of everything. She helped us with things that were not typical of a tour guide. We felt like we gained a sister and friend for life. I would go back to Prague just to spend time with Lenka!
Your Prague tour itinerary
After we meet up I will take you to the full day private day trip to the west of Prague. The drive takes less than 2 hours and our first stop will be the middle age town Loket with a 12-century castle and charming little streets. If you opt for it we can visit the castle inside. We can have coffee and snack in a local cafe After visiting Loket, I will drive you about 15 minutes to Karlovy Vary. The visit to the town we start by a leisure walk and while tasting the mineral springs you can admire the unique architecture and monuments. If you wish you can have some spa treatments which I recommend to reserve in advance. In the rest of the day, you can enjoy free time for shopping or visit Moser luxury glassworks. We can have lunch in Karlovy Vary in a local family owned restaurant We will finish back in Prague at your hotel or any other place according to your wish.
