Discover the Troodos Villages on this day trip from Nicosia

From its earliest days, Cyprus has been a bustling hub of civilizations that welcomed other cultures with open arms, just like myself, ready to welcome you!  On this tour, I'll take you to the Troodos which is the highest mountain range in Cyprus. The valleys are covered with stands of pine, cypress, dwarf oak, and cedar so depending on when you come to Cyprus, you'll see a green, fairy-tale like forest or a white one, as its peaks have snow from December to March Our first stop will be at Evrychou village. In the years 1901-1954, there was a railway operating in Cyprus. Nowadays you can only see it in a museum which is called the 'Cyprus Railway Museum'. We'll go to Kakopetria which is a popular hill resort village with many traditional houses. We have our lunch in one of the local restaurants and walk in the narrow streets of the old village and take wonderful photos. There is no hustle.
