Dear Visitors, WELCOME TO CYPRUS I come from Famagusta (in Greek Ammochostos) and since the Turkish Invation I live in Nicosia (in Greek Lefkosia). I studied Oceanography at the University of Hamburg (F. R. Germany) but since 2006 I am a freelance licensed tourist guide, guiding in German, English and Greek. If you are visiting Cyprus alone, or along with your family and friends, it will be a pleasure for me to welcome you to my country and show you around the island. Pls have a look at my tour list! If none of them fits your requirements, I can offer you a tailor-made tour. We can walk through Nicosia, the last divided capital in Europe, travel to the medieval Famagusta, or visit together the castles at the Keryneia district, the Pafos Mosaics, the Byzantine Churches in the Troodos mountains, the ruins of Salamis and Kourion, and many other venues. You only need to contact me, giving me 8 days notice and I will organize your tour for you, including transport together with everything that is required. See you soon! Licenced Tourist Guide by CTO In Cyprus it is a Criminal Offence for a guide to drive passengers with a private or a rental car when the guide is driving. The tourists are not covered by insurance. It is ok if a tourist is driving the rental car or we have a driver.

An amazing city, from the Neolithic Age until today. Nicosia is the capital of Cyprus since the 12th century AD. It's built on layers of tradition, and culture, both from the Western Europe, as well as the Middle East. Its medieval center is circled by a unique fortification system with 3 doors and 11 bastions, built by the Venetians. We will walk in the city within the walls, both in the Greek part as well as in the Turkish part, through the dividing line and try to understand the history of the city. I live in Nicosia since I was 13 years old and I know the city very well. Visiting the city with me will give you a personal touch of the historic sites.
- We meet outside the post office 20m east of Eleftheria Square in the Greek part of the city. - We walk within the walls. - Guiding in Archangel Michael Trypiotis churches, the Shiakolas Tower and the Nefeli and George Jabra museum. - We cross the green line. You need a valid passport or Id card . - Visit the Bujuk Han, and have a coffee break there. - Guiding in Ayia Sofia gothic church, St Nicholas church (Bedestan), the local Market, the Keryneia Gate and then come back.
