Welcome, Bon Bini! My name is Faraday and I will be your guide here in Curaçao. The slogan we use here on the island is, Feel it for yourself. I was born in Curaçao and raised in The Netherlands. After living for several years abroad I returned to the island as an adult. I fell in love with Curaçao. I love the language, history, culture, weather and all the island has to offer. This love and passion I have got for the island I wish to share with you. Curaçao has so much to offer so it fits everyone's wishes. If you are interested in nature, culture, history or anything else, you are covered. Curaçao is my home and I want to "show off" my roots, may I? In The Netherlands I have been working in several fields but what I liked the most is working with elderly. I am specialized in demented elderly people. It's very satisfying when you see a smile on their faces. This is a completely other niche than tourism but still, seeing a smile on your face during an island tour gives me a great satisfaction. In the Netherlands I had a great life but family is very important for me so when I realized that my grandma was suffering of dementia I took a leap of faith and returned to the island so we could spend some time together. Overview of your Willemstad tour

We will start the tour at the east side of the island. We will visit a botanic garden which contains a lot of stories - for example how the ancient people used herbs to treat several health issues. At the Aloe Vera Farm we will see the cultivation of more than 50. 000 plants and the products they make using the aloe vera gel as the main ingredient to make the best products. A tour through Willemstad will give you an inside of the historical and colorful city centre. Next we will head to the North West side of the island to visit the most beautiful beaches.
