"Bon biní" to Curaçao! That means "welcome" to Curaçao in our local language, Papiamentu. I'm Elton, a local island-boy born and raised in Curaçao who would be more than glad to show you around his island. As an avid traveller who has visited about 80 countries so far (probably your country too), my love and appreciation for Curaçao only kept on growing as I travelled more and more. Meeting people from across the globe with different backgrounds and cultures is one of the things I enjoy the most. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the island. It would be an honour to share all this love and appreciation with you and also teach you some Papiamentu if you're interested! Feel free to request eventual customized activities so I can arrange it all. Send me a message, even when it shows that I'm unavailable!! ATTENTION: 1. My car is a Suzuki Ciaz 2017, a sedan model. It could be a different car on the day of the tour too, but it will be a sedan model of similar size. In addition to the driver, it could fit another 3 adults; 2 adults+2 kids; 3 adults+1 kid; 1 adult+3 kids; or 4 adults depending on their size. Take this into account! The tours are set for maximum 3 people, let me know if you have a party of 4 who would fit in the vehicle. 2. In case you or someone on your party has mobility issues (difficulties walking), I'd recommend sending me a message first instead of immediately booking so we can discuss and see whether it would be possible to do the tour. I hope to see you soon! :-) - Certified tour guide (CTA: Curaçao Tourist Attendance certificate, 2011) - Driver licenses B, C, D, E. - Certificate of "Safety on the road" (VVV-Veilig Verkeer) - Bachelor in Education (Geography) since 2005, including teaching experience since 2004. - World-traveler: 84 countries visited across 6 continents. - Experience as a guide since 2011 - Able to communicate in 6 different languages, next to our own Papiamentu. - Fully Covid-vaccinated (two Pfizer shots) - I am not licensed to guide inside some museums due to their regulations.

Did you know that Willemstad, Curaçao's capital, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? I was born and raised just west of Otrobanda and always attended school in the area. The historical area consists of 4 districts. Come and wind through the historical streets, narrow alleys and squares in both Otrobanda and Punda districts with several monuments while you step back in time and learn about its rich history. Back in the days there was no sanitation as we know today, how did they do it all? A great tour especially for those interested in the history of this unique city.
- We start at the kiosk on Brionplein (Brion square), you'll see our national flag proudly flying on this square. - From there we go into the residential area of Otrobanda where the alleys and murals are located. - Then we'll cross the Emmabridge into Punda, going to the Fort Amsterdam and then get into Heerenstraat, Keukenstraat, stroll along the Sha Caprileskade and head towards the synagogue. - The tour continues over the Gomezplein, Breedestraat and ends at Wilhelminaplein It's difficult to indicate an exact itinerary by time since it all depends on how fast the group moves, the weather conditions and whether the Emmabridge is opened or not. When opened we need to cross by a free ferry service. Besides, the route is flexible and can always be adapted. The above is just to give you an idea. *Do not hesitate to contact me for a customized tour
