Curaçao is listed on the Unesco World Heritage list, because of it's historical monuments, European- caribbean architecture, especially 17th century. Curaçao also has a rich culture with Dutch, African, Spanish, Portugese and French influences. My passion is to show and share the beautiful sides of the island. Overview of your Willemstad tour
Experience this great walking and driving tour through the historical city of Willemstad. Our capital city is on the World Heritage list of Unesco. Discover this beautiful city, cross the old alleyways and enjoy historical monuments, old forts, art, culture, history and architecture . We will start the tour in Otrobanda. Then we will visit some old alley's in Punda. After this we will visit Kura Hulanda, old village of Otobanda restored with beautiful shops, restaurants, artshops. We will visit old alleyways with amazing murals and art of local artists. Taste some of our local snacks, sweets and drinks. I was born and raised on Curaçao and my passion is to share the beautiful sides of the island with you! I am sure you will love the nature, culture, architecture and our history and I feel blessed to be able to take you around and show as much as poss
Your Willemstad tour itinerary
We will start this Private tour in Otrobanda. the then we visit these locations: - Otrobanda; -Punda - Kura Hulanda, - cross the pontoon Emma bridge to Punda. - Old Fort Amsterdam - then cross Bredestraat to Wilhelmina Square. - Jewish Synagogue and history (we will not enter the Synagogue). - cross the bridge to the Scharloo neighboorhood (old Jewish neighbourhood). - visit the local market. return to the starting point, thus ending the tour. Try our local snacks, drinks and sweets. The tour lasts 4 hours. If the pontoon bridge is open, then the tour can take a bit longer. Because this is a private tour, I want to give you enough time to take pictures and enjoy the local architecture. So I'm flexible.
