One-Day Adventure: Pandas & the Giant Buddha Experience

7:30 AM - 8:30 AM Hotel pick-up and transfer to Chengdu Panda Base to see pandas at their most active in the morning. 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Explore the Chengdu Panda Base and get up close with these adorable creatures. 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Enjoy a lunch break to recharge for the rest of your adventure 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM Hop back into the vehicle for a scenic drive along the expressway from Chengdu to Leshan. Along the way, we’ll make a quick stop at a serene green tea plantation, where you can stretch your legs, use the restroom. 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM Arrive in Leshan. Here, you can choose to hike up the mountain for a close-up view of the Giant Buddha and the surrounding temples, or take a scenic boat ride to admire the majestic statue from the water. The boat tour takes approximately 40 minutes, while the hiking option takes about 2 hours. 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM After an unforgettable day, relax on the drive back to your Chengdu downtown hotel via the expressway.
