Your Chengdu tour itinerary

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM: Preparation Get picked up at 7:20 AM and arrive at the panda base by 8:30 AM. Sign up, put on work clothes, and attend a briefing by panda keepers. 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Prepare Bamboo and Watch Feeding Break bamboo and prepare bamboo shoots for pandas. Observe pandas being fed up close. 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Visit Enclosures Explore the base and see more giant pandas and red pandas. Watch pandas eating, sleeping, and playing. 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Lunch Break Enjoy a simple Chinese lunch at the canteen. 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Watch Panda Documentary Learn about panda conservation efforts. 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Make Panda Cakes Prepare “wowotou” (panda cakes) . 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Receive Certificate and Depart Get a volunteer certificate and return to Chengdu.
