Overview of your Chengdu tour
This private day tour departs from Chengdu to explore the magnificent Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sculpted over 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty. You may either enter the scenic area to walk down and reach the Buddha’s feet, or take a river cruise to view the full panoramic scene. After visiting the Giant Buddha, we’ll head to Leshan’s bustling local food street. Enjoy local flavours and feel the lively local food culture. After your time in Leshan ends, we can head back to Chengdu to visit 1 or 2 of Chengdu’s iconic highlights. The price you see includes a private vehicle with a dedicated driver for up to 3 people. This tour can also be arranged by high-speed train from Chengdu to the destination. If you wish to experience the high-speed train ride, please let me know and the price will change accordingly. Your Chengdu tour itinerary
07:30 - Depart Chengdu by private vehicle towards Leshan. 10:00 - Start visiting Leshan Giant Buddha, the world’s largest stone Buddha. You can choose to see it up close or take a river cruise. 12:30 - After visiting the Buddha, go to Leshan’s famous local food street to taste authentic local snacks and experience the local food culture. 14:30 - Drive back to downtown Chengdu. 16:30 - Start visiting People’s Park; Sichuan opera and kung fu tea shows are optional. 17:30 - Tour finish
