New Chengdu Panda Base and Sanxingdui Museum Private Tour

Victor was an excellent guide. He speaks fluent English with a broad range of technical terms and has a deep, detailed knowledge of Sichuan and Chengdu history. Victor is chatty and personable without being pushy. He listens carefully to what you want and adjusts plans accordingly. We were comfortably driven around by Victor, who is a good driver. We had very specific requests to focus on some unusual places (ancient sites, puppetry & needlework) and he designed an excellent tour based on those interests. We unreservedly recommend Victor as a guide. He would be a great guide for standard tours and more custom tours.

We had the panda base and Sanxingdui Museum tour with Victor in Sept 2023. We highly recommend this tour. The tour is well planned, and Victor is the best tour guide a tourist can expect. He is very knowledgeable about Chengdu and surrounding areas. We visited panda base in the morning, then he took us to Guanghan city for lunch to enjoy very tasty local food, we spent the whole afternoon in Sanxingdui museum, The museum is fabulous, and Victor make it even more interesting.

Victor was an excellent guide for our trip to Panda Base and Sanxingdui Museum. He is very knowledgeable on both the pandas and the relics in the museum. He provided background and historical information to put things in perspective. It is quite apparent that he is a history enthusiast, and we learn a lot. An experienced guide, Victor, understands well the nuances of what foreign visitors need. He went with our flow and pace and we never felt rushed. Thank you Victor for being flexible!

My 16 and 19 year old boys were in Chengdu for a day and they had tour that they loved. They thought the Pandas would be the highlight of the day, but it was the city thanks to Wenhao. They had very high praise for Wenhao.

Victor showed great knowledge of our main destination the Panda sanctuary and of the Panda themselves. The street we went to and the people's park were interesting additions. Thanks Victor.

Victor and Luna were excellent. Luna took us on a tour of the city the first day, with very useful tidbits of info- we especially liked the visit to the market to see all the unusual delicacies eaten in China. Victor was very useful, too; he re-routed us from our original panda trip to one farther away where it was possible to have a close encounter with a panda- this was one of the high points of our trip. He was also very knowledgeable about the panda center.
