Dujiangyan Panda Park & Irrigation System Private Day Tour

We chose this tour hoping to make the most of our daylong layover at the Chengdu airport and are so glad we did. Wenhao (Victor) proved to be a terrific guide and host who made our brief visit to China a truly memorable and enjoyable experience in spite of our considerable jet lag. His knowledge of the area and the sites we visited, particularly the pandas, was outstanding and we learned so much more from him than we ever could have on our own. His enthusiasm, humor, fluency in English, and willingness to tailor the tour to best accommodate our interests and travel schedule were all big pluses. Very highly recommended. Thank you Victor!

We were lucky and grateful to find Wenhao on the Tours By Locals website. We hired him to take us to the Dujiangyan Irrigation system and the nearby Panda Base. Wenhao did an excellent job, sharing lots of information that helped us to truly understand what we were seeing. Also, he took many photos of us together, so we didn’t have to take awkward selfies. He is considerate, personable, honest and has a great sense of humor. We cannot recommend Wenhao enough and look forward to using his services again on a future trip to China.

The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. We went to early to the Panda conservation centre to avoid crowds and see the pandas breakfasting. We went to a traditional noodle house of her choice which I have appreciated a lot because it was outside the tourist zones. We also had a great time at the irrigation system.

Our tour with Victor was truly an enriching experience! As a tour guide, he has excellent knowledge and a real passion for what he does. Thanks to him, our trip felt very meaningful. We learned so much along the way, and it definitely helped expand our general knowledge.Victor gave us detailed explanations at every stop, and his fluent English made everything easy to understand.I really enjoyed this trip with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and engaging guide!

Dujiangyan Panda site is in my opinion a nicer site to visit as it is more tranquil and has less people. Wenhao has excellent knowledge on Pandas and will be able to explain the cute animals well. Dujiangyan was also very explained to us by him.
