Overview of your Chengdu tour
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning before a comfortable private transfer to the Dujiangyan Panda Base, about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Chengdu. Compared with the busier panda bases in the city, Dujiangyan offers a quieter setting and better opportunities to watch giant pandas up close during their most active morning hours. After the visit, you will be transferred back to your hotel. For those seeking a deeper connection, an optional red panda Interactive Experience is available. During this experience, you can step into the red pandas' living area, take photos with them, feed them apple strips, and enjoy close interactions. The Red Panda Experience has an additional fee of 900 CNY per person, payable directly to the center.
