Leshan Giant Buddha and Pengzhen Tea House private tour

Sichuan is renowned for its tea culture, which was once celebrated in many tea houses scattered throughout the city and countryside. Sadly, many of these old tea houses have now disappeared with the advancement of modern life. However, one of these original tea houses has been well-preserved and kept alive by the locals. Its walls are decorated with posters of Chairman Mao, creating a tangible link to a time long gone.
As a photographer, I'd like to explore interesting places for pix. In 2012, I found this tea house coincidentally and took a lot of great pix. As it is on the way from Chengdu downtown to Leshan, I decided to introduce it to the travelers who are interested in Chinese culture.
The Giant Buddha is an impressive 71 meter tall stone statue of Buddha located at the confluence of three rivers in Leshan. By the walking tour, you can walk from the Buddha's head to its feet by a zigzag cliff path. You can also visit the temples and gardens in the park.
